Development & New Business

The Development and New Business directorate comprises three separate business units:

Development procures the development of new homes for affordable rent, intermediate rent and low cost home ownership through its own direct development activity and through partnerships with Local Authorities, external contractors, developers and housebuilders.

The Home Ownership team markets our homes for shared ownership and outright sale, our market and intermediate lets as well as providing a range of post sales services to existing home owners and the Right to Buy/Aquire schemes.  The team also manages the one-stop-shop Hampshire Homebuy Agency (Homesinhants) on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency and the Armed Forces Home Ownership Scheme (AFHOS) on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.  We are also one of the largest providers in the country of the Mortgage Rescue Scheme.

Founded in 2003, Wayfarer is a consortium of 8 different registered housing providers which have joined forces to increase the supply of affordable housing and deliver sustainable communities across a number of southern counties. Radian acts as "Lead RP" and co-ordinates the grant administration on behalf of its members.
