Development & New Business

The Development and New Business directorate comprises three separate business units:

Development
Home Ownership
Wayfarer
Design and Compliance

Development procures the development of new homes for affordable rent, intermediate rent and low cost home ownership through its own direct development activity and through partnerships with Local Authorities, external contractors, developers and housebuilders.

Home Ownership markets our newbuild homes for sale, our market and intermediate lets as well as providing a range of post sales services to existing home owners. It also manages the one-stop-shop Hampshire Homebuy Agency (Homesinhants) and the Armed Forces Home Ownership Scheme (AFHOS) on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency.

Wayfarer co-ordinates the grant administration on behalf of its members of which Radian group, through its three subsidiaries Drum, Swaythling and Windsor, Wayfarer is administered by a small secretariat and Swaythling Housing Society acts as "Lead RSL".
