In order to deal effectively with cases, we have categories for anti-social behaviour as follows:
For the most serious incidents, you will be contacted within one working day of receiving the report.
Examples of a high level incident are:
• Assault
• Criminal activity
• Domestic abuse
• Homophobic harassment
• Proven allegations of drug dealing
• Racial graffiti or harassment
• Violence or threats of violence
We will contact you within three working days for medium-level incidents, when we will agree with you a plan of action.
Examples of medium level incident are:
• Aggressive/abusive behaviour
• Frequent noise nuisance
• Frequent vandalism or graffiti
• Verbal abuse
• Written abuse
We will contact you within five working days for low-level incidents, when we will agree with you a plan of action.
Examples of low level incident are:
• Minor breaches of tenancy (such as untidy gardens)
• Car repairs in a public area
• Noise nuisance
• Pet nuisance
This category is when a report is received but because of the situation no action normally can be taken. Examples of such situations include ball games being played, one-off parties, for example a barbecue, where there is no evidence that the problem will re occur, or noise arising from general use of property. The report will be recorded but the complainant will be told that no action can be taken other than giving general advice.
