Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs) are used to assess the equality implications of our strategies, policies and procedures for customers and employees. They aim to, as far as possible, eliminate negative consequences and maximise equality promotion.
We are undertaking a policy review and once complete EIAs will be revisited as part of a review programme. Future amendments to strategies, policies and procedures will include an EIA review. New strategies, policies and procedures will require EIA completion before approval and implementation.
