The group made up of residents and staff will be key in looking at our rent-related policies and procedures to make sure that the service is delivered in a 'fair but firm' way. Fair in being consistent, treating all our customers in a manner appropriate to their needs, and supporting those identified as experiencing difficulties that affect their ability to pay. Firm to make sure that money owed as rent is received as it forms 90% of Radian's annual income and pays for services for our customers.
It will also consider surveys and questionnaires to improve services and look at ways to maximise customers' income to enable them to have better life choices - for example looking at affordable contents insurance packages.
