Buying the home you rent

If you currently rent your property from Radian, you may be eligible to purchase your current home at a discounted rate through one of the three Government initiatives called Right to Buy, Right to Acquire or Social Homebuy.  Each initiative offers different benefits and in order to be eligible you need to meet the required eligibility criteria.  

Right to Buy
You could purchase your home under the Right to Buy if you are a resident with a ‘secure’ tenancy agreement which commenced prior to 18 January 2005 (or former local authority tenant with ‘assured’ agreements who helped ‘secure’ agreements when your home was transferred to Radian).

Right to Acquire 
The Right to Acquire is aimed at you if you are living in a property that has been built or purchased by Radian on or after 1 April 1997.
