As well as providing sheltered accommodation we recognise that we need to focus on meeting the needs of all older people with a whole community approach that offers flexible and individualised support, to those with identified support needs.
Sheltered Housing may appeal to you if you want to live independently, in a smaller and easier-to-manage home, and like the idea of having someone to call on if there is an emergency.
We provide over 1,000 high quality, good value homes with a high level of service through our dedicated team. Our schemes are designed for independent living with the added security of being fitted with alarm pull cords, which are monitored 24 hours a day seven days a week. Most of our sheltered housing schemes have a designated Independent Living Officer and benefit from shared communal facilities such as lounge, kitchen and laundry. Some also have guest room facilities.
For more information about Sheltered Housing and where we have schemes please click on the relevant tabs on the left hand side of the page.
Applicants need to be over the age of 60 for the schemes in East Hampshire or over 55 for most of the other schemes (some of our schemes will accept applicants of a younger age with a support need, such as a learning disability). Specific information on each scheme and the age criteria can be found on the individual scheme details on the "where we have schemes"tab.
