Radian Gives Macmillan A Big Hand

On 25 November, at our Drum Court office, in Petersfield, we celebrated the handover of a cheque for £2,220 to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Each year, all our staff get the opportunity to complete a survey which measures their level of happiness in their job, with their employer and their engagement level. For every completed survey, we pledged to donate a certain amount of money to a charity chosen by the staff. Macmillan Cancer Support was voted to be the recipient for 2011.

Katie Blake, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support, was there to collect the cheque: “Macmillan would like to thank Radian for this fabulous donation that will make a big difference to the lives of people affected by cancer. This donation could pay to keep a Macmillan Information & Support Centre stocked for a year, providing a vital service to people with a cancer diagnosis, their families and loved ones.”

Kiernan Easton, Radian’s Staff Forum Chair, was proud to hand over the cheque explaining, “The staff of Radian are pleased to support Macmillan and very happy that the money can do so much to help fund this amazing charity.”
