Radian has helped to form a consortium called ‘Give us a Chance’. It is a group of leading social housing landlords who have joined forces to deliver employment and training opportunities to help young people get jobs.
There is a huge range of temporary job opportunities on offer to people aged between 16 and 25 years old. The placements are paid and there may be the possibility of a longer placement in some circumstances.
The ‘Give us a Chance’ consortium will be officially launched in the House of Commons on 12 March. Radian will make a presentation to MPs and other stakeholders on how we are already delivering employment and training opportunities to help young people get jobs.
It is hoped that by working with other social housing landlords, Work Programme prime contractors, MPs and young people, we can make a real difference to people’s lives.
