Radian named Development of the Year in top UK Housing Award

We scooped the prize for our development at Sunfield Close, Andover, a highly ecological set of homes produced in partnership with Test Valley Borough Council.

Comedian Jeremy Hardy handed out the prizes at the awards run by Inside Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing. CIH chief executive Grainia Long said: ‘The UK Housing Awards showcase the very best people and organisations working across the housing sector and we are thrilled to be a part of it. ‘

The name for Sunfield Close was thought up by Josh Wells, a Year 5 pupil from Portway Junior School in Andover, who helped unveil the name at the official opening in February. The schoolchildren and other members of the local community were heavily involved throughout  consultation about how scheme.

Key partners in the scheme included Architecture PLB, Drew Smith Group, The Welling Partnership
