Swaythling Continues Award Success

4th September 2009

Swaythling Housing won the Best Large Development award at the Affordable Home Ownership Awards held on Thursday 3rd September. The prestigious national awards ceremony was held at the Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, in London and hosted by property developer and presenter of Channel 4’s ‘Property Ladder’, Sarah Beeny.

Swaythling, last year’s ‘Affordable Home Ownership Provider of the Year’, has been rewarded for its ongoing success in 2009 by winning the award for the Archers Gate scheme in Amesbury, Wiltshire. The judging panel said “In Archers Gate, Swaythling has created a good size scheme with an excellent tenure mix and very good community facilities. An all round excellent application”

We are looking for two exceptional people with a real commitment to customers
to help bring Radian’s Avon and Thames area panels alive and to ensure that our
vision of having residents at the heart of decision making is met.

As the Community Team Leader you will play a key role in coordinating the Avon
and Thames area panels, making sure that panel members are given all the
support they need to make the area panels a success.

We want area panel meetings to be vibrant and fun, so although you will
probably already have experience of working with residents, we will also want
you to have the confidence to try different ideas, rather than relying upon
traditional resident involvement methods.

As the leader of the Avon and Thames Community team you will need to develop
your staff to work productively with residents and other external agencies to
achieve the best possible deal for our local communities. So amongst other
things, you’ll need to be enthusiastic, energetic and have excellent
communication skills together with the ability to inspire people and meet
challenging customer service priorities.
