Football team set to flourish thanks to Radian support

Radian is funding a local football team to assist in the purchasing of a new sports kit for their junior boys team. Testwood United Football Club in Totten, Southampton, is working closely with Radian’s ‘If Only Panel’ to strike a deal to show the alternative ways that Radian helps communities to flourish.

The Testwood Dragoons have a somewhat short but successful history. After establishing themselves two years ago the team have already won the under 10’s League and the ‘fair play’ award. However, the Testwood Utd team as a whole, which include all ages groups and a girls’ football team, has been around since 1986 with a successful history of winning trophies in and around the Hampshire area, including a ‘treble’ on two separate occasions.

The club are fortunate to have had the involvement of many professional footballers throughout the years, including former Liverpool and England midfielder Mark Wright, and ex-Aston Villa and Northern Ireland midfielder Andy Townsend, who may now be more famous for his football commentary on ITV.

The Radian logo will appear on the front of both, the red and white stripes of the Testwood Dragoons kit and the training jacket. We hope that with Radian’s support the Dragoons and the whole of Testwood Utd can continue to have another successful year and achieve another first place!
