Double Success For Radian Staff At The REED Care Awards 2011

Two of our employees from Turnstone Support's Waterside Supported Living scheme in Chesham have been recognised by the REED Care Awards 2011. Hollie Capstick, Support Worker, won the Regional Carer of the Year prize for the South, and Vanessa Caldicott, Assistant Team Manager, was runner up in the same category.

The Art Of Community Engagement

Steven Knowles, Anti-Social Behaviour Officer for Radian, is finding new ways to engage and involve the community where he works, through his love of art. He has recently participated in two exhibitions, Bucks Open Studios and Parallax Art Fair, London, and we have embraced Steven’s creative interest and successes, recognising the value and potential it can bring to both staff and residents through locally-based projects.

Southampton HomeBuy Show Almost Doubles In Attendance

Last week’s Hampshire HomeBuy show, hosted by HomesinHants at the Rose Bowl, attracted almost twice the amount of attendees than the previous record. Buoyed by new Government schemes and some of the lowest house prices in recent times, first time buyers are queuing up to find out how they can secure a new home for a very affordable deposit and, in many cases, paying less per month than their current private rent.
