BOOKING CONDITIONS & TERMS

1. The Contract
A contract shall be deemed to have been made between Radian Group Limited (Radian) and the booking client (the client) when the client has confirmed requirements by, inter alia, facsimile, letter, written or online order form or telephone, and Radian have accepted such a booking- an confirmation email or letter will act as proof of such acceptance.

2. Price
There is no cost for places on the ‘Retrofit – European Solutions to a Global Problem?’ event.nate.aspx

3. Cancellation or Variations by the Client
Any request by the client for a variation to the booking or of a cancellation must be made using any of the systems (telephone, fax, email, and website) found under the header above ‘Conference enquires’ to Radian.

4. Alterations to advertised Speakers, Timings etc
4.1 All advertised details are subject to change.

4.2 Every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised details but any speaker may become unable to attend and this may result in alternative speakers attending and/or timings being rearranged on the day. Where such alterations, omissions or changes of times become apparent prior to the date of the event, Radian will update the conference website (http://www.radian.co.uk/retrofit/.) Subsequently it is the client’s responsibility to check for such changes on the website.  Radian can accept no contractual liability for any such changes.

5. Liability of Radian
5.1 The client hereby acknowledges that Radian acts as agent of the client in arranging the booking and that Radian will not be liable for any misrepresentations, negligence, contractual or tortuous loss of any kind whatsoever suffered by the client due to any act or omission by or on behalf of any third party.

5.2 In any event Radian shall not be liable for death or personal injury suffered by the client arising out of the booking. This limitation of liability shall also extend to any loss or damage sustained by property or belongings of the client or for any further costs, demands or expenses incurred or suffered by the client arising out of the booking.

5.3 Radian will not be liable for any cancellation of or alteration to the booking or any loss or damage to the client arising out of circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to any act of god, natural disaster or act of terrorism.

6. Law and Construction
The contract of these terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and Radian and the client hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all matters regarding the contracts and these Terms and Conditions.

7. Sound and Video Recording
The ‘Retrofit – European Solutions to a Global Problem?’ conference  may be recorded  in sound and video, for use by Radian Group Companies. These recordings may be used on the Radian website and may also be published on other social media. By attending the conference you agree for any recording featuring yourself to be used for such purposes by Radian.
