We are pleased to announce we have secured a Community Training Grant of £20,000 from the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund.
This essential funding will enable Radiant Futures, a project supporting people living in the Windsor communities of Clewer and Dedworth, to access intensive employment support and training. Our employment, support and training team will deliver services from this month which will increase employment opportunities and enhance skills.
“The Clewer and Dedworth communities will benefit greatly from this free training and employment support and I am thrilled that Radian Group is committed to supporting all residents, not just their customers. Access to services such as these are vital at this time and will continue to be in the future. I look forward to seeing the positive impact Radiant Futures will make on the lives of our residents and urge them to take advantage of this opportunity. ” – Councillor Price, The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
To kick start the delivery of this project, we are running a series of digital webinars covering employability, health and wellbeing and their celebrated Create self-employment programme. Participants will be offered one-to-one support to nurture them in reaching their employment goals and the Group will work closely with local employers to identify appropriate vacancies.
“We are delighted to have secured this generous funding which will allow us to reach these communities. Employment support has never been more urgent, and we are in a good position to impact positive change and increase opportunities for these communities. We are committed to creating equal opportunity and this funding will support us in giving individuals great life-chances.” – Michelle Dawson, Managing Director of Community Services at Radian Group
This project is open to anyone aged 16 years and over who is eligible to work in the UK and is currently unemployed. To find out more contact our Employment, Support and Training team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 432 06570.
