Quotations and tenders

For most requirements, Radian will go through a competitive quotation or tendering process, run through our e-procurement portal, In Tend. The thresholds shown below are determined by both our own Financial Regulations, and external guidelines and legislation governing Registered Providers of Housing. These details will change periodically.

The ‘value’ of a contract is the estimated total spend over its lifetime, with allowance for inflation and other factors.

Although individual ACCL members are usually invited to quote for works below £25,000, they can still choose to bid for higher-value contracts.

In evaluating competitive bids, price is not the only factor. We also look at quality and technical ability, and include a weighting for social value.

The number of suppliers shown are minimums. All contracts are subject to approval by Radian management at the designated level.
