“Housing association colleagues work tirelessly with residents and tenants directly to provide the highest quality service possible.

“But did you know that there is a whole other team whose work ‘behind the scenes’ makes sure schemes provide high-quality, safe and secure homes that not only cater for specific needs but improve happiness, health and wellbeing.

“Partnerships and Agents (P&A) are a small team at Radian looking after our Supported Housing properties.

“We work with over 20 Support Providers to deliver housing and support to more than 400 vulnerable people from Bournemouth to Milton Keynes.

“Our tenants and residents have a range of backgrounds from learning difficulties to young mums. We offer anything from 24-hour care to minimal floating support depending on their needs.

“On a daily basis, P&A Officers deal with a huge variety of issues and queries which include fire safety, repairs, anti-social behaviour, liaising with social services, setting up tenancies, managing voids and being experts on our schemes.

“Each of our 80+ schemes have specialist providers in place. For those under Service Level Agreements, where the people living at the property are Radian tenants, annual inspections carried out by us make sure the service provided, and health and safety of the scheme are of the highest possible standards.

“The P&A Team act as the glue between our schemes and Radian, helping everything tick over to make sure our tenants get the best quality housing that suits their needs and well-being.

“One of the most rewarding parts of the job is being able to help someone and see a real change to their quality of life. For example, we have housed people from institutional hospital settings into shared bungalows in the Avon area. We were told by Support Providers who had worked with the individuals in their previous settings that they had noticed a huge reduction in difficult behaviours. Even the simplest pleasure of having a cup of tea in their own home without another resident trying to take it from them was something that was being treasured by our customers.
