Radian manages more than 17,000 homes across the central southern area of England, of which approximately 75% are available for rent.
Please note that local authorities hold housing registers so you will need to apply to the local authority in the area you are interested in living in rather than to us.
Below is a list of local authorities in the areas we have homes. Alternatively you can visit the DirectGov website to find a local authority or for useful information about living in a council or housing association home.
If you are offered a social housing tenancy with Radian and rent is due weekly we will ask for one week’s rent when you sign up.
If you are offered a monthly tenancy you will need to pay a minimum of one month’s rent when you sign your agreement.
If you want to pay your rent at a frequency that is different from that stated in your tenancy agreement, you will need to pay enough money when you sign up to ensure that your account will not fall into arrears before your regular payments start.
There are also around 500 homes available through an Intermediate or Market Rent Schemes. Rent to Buy options may also be available. Please visit our Radian Homes website for all available homes to buy and rent (please note that the majority of our properties will be on mixed tenure developments).

If you live in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) or if you work permanently in the borough you may be able to join their Common Housing Register. For more information and an application form please visit www.rbwm.gov.uk.
Non-residents now looking to live in the borough need to have lived, or worked, permanently in the borough for two years. If they meet either of these criteria they can approach RBWM to register with them. For more information refer to RBWM’s Housing Options page.
We hold a transfer list for our residents to apply to if they want to move within the borough. They will be assessed based on housing and medical needs. Residents with medical priorities will be higher up the list.
Residents can request a letter to show where they are on the list; this can only be done every three months.
Sheltered housing is now only available for people who are over 60; there is no dispensation for people younger than this with a medical priority.
Thames Home Choice
Radian, Housing Solutions, and the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) have worked together to simplify how we manage the housing transfer system for customers who would like to move within the Borough.
From early 2019 you will be able to apply for a transfer online by going onto the Radian website and following the Thames Home Choice link. On the new site website you will be able to:
