Radian is a company full of warm and genuine people who are ambitious and driven. I started working here straight after finishing Uni, working in the Customer Service team. The team were fantastic and I loved helping the residents who would call up needing help or advice. I wanted to progress in my career but still keep the side of my job that was focused on helping people.
When the Community and Involvement Assistant role came up, I was excited to apply and have the opportunity to work on big projects that really help communities. My daily role saw me supporting the Community Development Officers in their roles as well as processing invoices and undertaking research and data collection for new and existing projects. My role was effectively what I made it, I was encouraged to run my own projects and get out in the communities so that I could get a full understanding of the daily requirements of the role. I was probably only in the office about 60% of the time!
I’ve now recently progressed in to a new role as an Employment Support Advisor which is an exciting step up.
