Twelve men from Men's Matters have successfully completed a 6-week wellbeing course. Men's Matters is a group supported by Radian which helps older men in and around the Windsor area to live their best life and aims to combat social isolation.
Funded by the Slough-based charity Jeena International, the sessions were led by a professional counsellor and included discussions on confidence, depression, self-esteem, happiness and anxiety - all of which of key areas that the Men's Matters group work on.
Men's Matters Trustee Paul Samuels said "The course provided an excellent mix of intellectual stimulation, personal reflection and fun competitions. They were immensely valuable sessions."
The group have previously taken part in sessions learning about a range of topics, from cookery to digital skills. Men's Matters always welcomes new members, and they will be holding weekly drop-in sessions at All Saints Church in Dedworth every Monday from 1pm to 1.30pm, starting from Monday 24 April.
