The Boards of Radian Group Limited and A2Dominion Housing Group Limited had been in discussions to form a partnership and explore options to deliver benefits for the residents and local communities they serve.
In reviewing the options, the Groups have mutually agreed that at this stage it would be preferable to continue to deliver their respective strategic plans and transformation programmes independently.
Discussions regarding a formal partnership have now ended.
Mick Sweeney, Chief Executive of the Radian Group, said:
“This is of course disappointing, but having carried out further discussions with A2Dominion it has become apparent that our approaches, particularly around technology, are different and the focus of both organisations must be the service we provide to our customers. That said, continuing business as usual has been important at Radian, and our new draft five year Corporate Strategy will provide new and exciting opportunities for 2018 and beyond.
“Although talks around a partnership have ended, the work we have done with A2Dominion so far has established good working relationships and we will be looking to work together on future opportunities which were being discussed last year.”
In November 2017, we announced that A2Dominion and Radian housing groups had started formal discussions to form a new partnership. These discussions have now concluded with the Boards of both organisations mutually agreeing not to proceed with the partnership.
As a result we will no longer carry out the intended consultation exercise with residents this year.
