On Wednesday 18 March, Radian Group completed its delivery of 40 affordable homes at Causeway Farm, a sought-after development in Petersfield.
Delivering affordable housing is essential and, as a housing provider in the south of England, we are committed to continuing to provide high quality homes for those who really need them and which enhance communities.
Cllr Julie Butler, Deputy Leader and Portfolio Holder for Welfare and Community Integration, East Hampshire District Council said:
“East Hampshire District Council is pleased to have supported Radian Group to deliver 80 much-needed affordable homes in Petersfield.
“The Causeway Farm development provided accommodation for those in need, that had registered with Hampshire Home Choice and Help to Buy South. The council looks forward to working with Radian Group in the future to help deliver much needed affordable housing throughout the district.”
Delivered in partnership with Barratt David Wilson Homes (BDW) and East Hampshire District Council, the development started in January 2018 and completed on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
James Pennington, Director of Development, at Radian Group, said:
“This scheme has been a pleasure to work on, with BDW providing quality units to those who need them most. The considered construction blends into its rural surroundings seamlessly and aims to create a community environment as well as affordable and sustainable homes.”
Our affordable homes at Causeway Farm encompass 40 one, two and three-bedroom homes and coach houses across 12 shared ownership properties and 28 affordable rent units. The development has been incredibly popular and all of the homes have now been reserved.
