On Tuesday 21 July and Monday 27 July our cafes are re-opening to the public and we look forward to welcoming you back!
During the government directive to stay home we repurposed our community cafes, Café 1759 and the Round About Café, to food distribution and hot meal provision centres. Following the latest advice from the government we are delighted to let you know that we are re-opening at the end of July.
To ensure the safety of our customers and our colleagues, we’ve made several changes and everything you need to know before you visit is below. Your health and wellbeing is our top priority so we have made a range of revisions to our services to ensure we are offering the best possible experience to café visitors.
Café 1759 – open from Tuesday 21 July
Open Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and Saturday, 9am to 3pm.
At Café 1759 you can enjoy our menu both indoors and outdoors.
Round About Café – open from Monday 27 July
Open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.
At the Round About Café we will be offering a takeaway service, accepting card payments only and operating on a one in, one out basis. You can order hot and cold drinks and snacks to go, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Your safety is our top priority and we want to ensure you feel safe and comfortable when you return to our cafes. As such, we have introduced new measures at both cafes, including:
- The installation of safety screens
- Frequent table and counter sanitation, including in-between every use
- Daily colleague health checks
- Reduced menu at both cafes to give us more time to focus on new safety procedures
When you visit, we will be doing our utmost to keep you safe, and ensure you have a great time with us. At Café 1759 and Round About Café we are here for you and hope to see you soon for a coffee and a slice of cake!
